Q: How do I book a trip with Fish Happens Charters?
A: It’s easy, you can either call us directly or email using the information provided in the Contact section.
Q: Are credit cards accepted?
A: Yes, all major credit cards are accepted but there will be a 3.5% non-refundable fee attached to your charter.
Q: Is a deposit required?
A: Yes, a $200 deposit is required upon booking your adventure with us. The remaining amount of your adventure is due upon arrival at the dock. This deposit is non-refundable unless your captain instructs otherwise. It is solely up to the Captain’s discretion.
Q: What do I need to bring with me?
A: You will need to bring your food and drinks, sunscreen, towels and your MP3 player full of your favorite music. We have plenty of storage and ice. Please do not bring extra coolers.
Q: Are you available for special events?
A: Yes, Fish Happens Outdoors is available for any event.
Q: Do we need a fishing license
A: No, Fish Happens Outdoors carries a charter license that covers you and your family for the day.
Q: Can you guarantee that we will catch fish?
A: Unfortunately no. Fish aren’t always the most cooperative species, but we will guarantee that we will do everything possible to ensure you the best chance possible to catch and land your fish.
Q: Do you clean fish?
A: Yes, your captain will clean and bag your catch at the end of the day. ***Please note: If you do not intend to keep any fish, please tell us early in the day so that we can give all our caught fish a clean and healthy release. This way we can ensure a healthy population for our children and grand children to enjoy.
Q: What do we do in case of bad weather?
A: We do our very best to always keep a close eye on the weather. We will inform you if the day looks to have adverse conditions. We will not put you in a dangerous situation that could result in injury. If weather turns bad while we’re fishing we will call our trip and some of the day’s rate can be refunded.
